Product Review: Oz Naturals Hyaluronic Acid Serum For Skin

While I love testing new up-and-coming beauty products – it is very rare that I actually add one to my every day beauty routine. Seriously. If I decide to add a a product to my regimen it is either absolutely amazing or it replaces one or more products that I already use. Much to my surprise the Oz Naturals Hyaluronic Acid Serum for Skin meets not one but both of those requirements.

I have to tell you that when I first ordered and started using the Oz Naturals Serum, I certainly was not expecting much. Hyaluronic Acid serums are all the rage right now and everyone is marketing them. I honestly was not sure that this product would stand out or work any better than the other versions that I have tried.

I don’t have what I would call ‘horrible’ skin – but I certainly don’t have perfect skin either. I have some issues. My complexion is often red and blotchy and I have combination skin. Some areas of my face (like my chin) are oily while others (mainly my cheeks and nose) are very dry to the point of flaking and cracking. It is very hard for me to find skin products for my face, mostly because there are very few that can help with multiple issues without exacerbating one or the other. Fortunately for me the Oz Naturals Hyaluronic Acid Serum gently helps with several of my skin issues without creating new ones.

When reading the package you will find that this product is a serum based facial product that is ORGANIC, 100% vegan friendly and animal cruelty free ( which i love). As far as long term results- it is supposed to slow signs of aging and prevent wrinkles. In the short term, the serum is supposed to help moisturize the face and give your skin tone a more ‘youthful’ and ‘dewy’ appearance.

The serum is super easy to use and apply. I typically put mine on after a shower. After washing and patting your face dry simply use the dropper to put a small amount of serum in your hand. Rub your hands together and then apply to face. Rub the serum in as best you can – it can be a little sticky at first so i recommend washing hands afterward. It is recommended that you apply this product in conjunction with your favorite moisturizer at is supposed to really help it get deeper into the skin and moisturize more efficiently.  This product can be applied and worn everyday and you can apply your makeup on top of it. I just recommend that you give the serum a few minutes to really absorb and dry on your skin before applying any further product.

MY EXPERIENCE

I used this product as directed and have had pretty awesome results. Like I said – I don’t regularly add new products to my daily routine unless I really feel that they have benefit for me. After using this product for a week – I can definitely say that I am hooked. My skin has a more even and healthier looking skin tone and I am seeing a lot less blotchiness. Somehow – this product worked well with my body chemistry because not only have I experienced a drastic decrease in dryness and flakiness in my nose and cheeks but the areas of my face that are typically excessively oily are even, smooth and clear. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is either looking for a great anti-aging preventative serum or for someone who needs an excellent product to supplement and boost the effects of your daily moisturizer.
