Why We Will Never Floss Again – The Pyle Cordless Water Pick

I hate flossing. I HATE it. I have crowded teeth and a small jaw and conventional flossing is time consuming and uncomfortable for me. So, when I was offered the opportunity to test out the Pyle Cordless and Portable Water Pick I was over the moon.

The whole unit is super compact. It folds up into itself and can literally be stored in a medicine cabinet or easily taken on the go and stashed away in a pocket book, suitcase, briefcase, gymbag, etc. Anywhere you go – this device can go to. The battery is rechargeable and comes with it’s own charger. Once charged – you can use the product many times before it needs to be charged again.

The device basically uses the power of water pressure to pressure wash your teeth – like flossing – but with water and certainly less time consuming. There are two settings – normal and soft. If you have sensitive gums I recommend the soft setting – at least for the first few uses until you get used to the pressure. I tried the normal setting the first go ’round and had some bleeding but no more than is normally associated with flossing and crowded teeth.

The nozzle and water pressure really allow you to reach every part of your mouth and to blast away plaque and and any additional gunk left behind that your toothbrush doesn’t get. My mouth feels AMAZING after I use it and I have incorporated it into my daily dental hygiene routine.

This is definitely a dental accessory that is worth the effort to have and use. It’s very user friendly, easy to set up, charge and utilize. Mine sits right on my bathroom counter. My Experience with the Uberve 2-in-1 Artist Set Acrylic Paint and Brushes

I love having art products around the house. I am very much into DIY crafts and love being artistic. I don’t paint in the traditional sense but I do often require paintbrushes and acrylic paints for projects that I make that require a bit of color here and there or simply for decorating pre-fab products like wooden mirrors or the occasional birdhouse. The set of brushes I had were old, stubby and the bristles were in horrible condition – so when I was offered the opportunity to try out the Uberve 2-in-1 artist set – I was stoked. It looked like it was everything I really needed for my painting kit.

The product comes with 15 long handled wooden paint brushes with no-shed synthetic hair bristles. The brush heads are coated in some sort of hardened preserving liquid when you get them. I think it keeps them from fraying, shedding or becoming dry rotted before they are used. A bit of warm water loosens and softens the bristles easily so that you can use them. The brushes have nice long handles so you don’t have to struggle to hold them and like I said there are 15 of them ranging in size from large to very small – so you will no doubt have the perfect brush regardless of the project you need it for. The brushes come in a lovely black carrying case – each with it’s own sheath pocket. The brushes stay inside their assigned pocket and to not just roll around in the case. This also prevents them from sliding and getting the bristles caught in the zipper. The case is durable and light weight but very protective. It can easily be slipped inside a tote or backpack for easy travel.

As far as the paints are concerned there are twelve different colors in this particular set of acrylics. All primary and neutral colors are included – if there is a color you are missing you may have to do a bit of blending to get a the shade you want – but that’s half the fun. Each color comes in a sturdy tube. They are individually sealed. Tubes are opened by puncturing the seal with the point in the end of the paint cap. The paint is easy to squeeze from the tube – I recommend doing so a little at a time so that you do not waste what you don’t need. The colors are bright, vivid and creamy and are easily spread by the paint brushes provided.

I have really enjoyed my experience with this product – definitely a great set for an aspiring painter who is starting out. The paint quality is fantastic and the brushes are easy to handle and leave lovely brush strokes. I would definitely recommend. Check out the video to see this product in action.

Awesome Multi-Functional Car Trashcan by Mas27

I am a new mommy and constantly on the go… there are times I feel like I live in my car. I do my best to keep it trash and clutter free.. but more often than not I forget to throw things away because I am so busy. My car is a dysfunctional unorganized mess. I admit it. Is there a self help group for people with messy cars? Oh, well – I digress.

At any rate – because of my issues with trash around my car.. and the fact that I am super unorganized. I am always browsing around online looking for nifty gadgets, organizational tools and storage items… Not just for me – but things I think my readers would enjoy to. Recently, I was offered the opportunity to try the Car Trash Can made by Mas27.

So, I have to say – I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS PRODUCT. It is sold as a ‘car trash can’ and it certainly works for that. The container itself is large and roomy – BUT COMPACT. it has a velcro closure at the top and presses in to fold and becomes completely flat! The bag has convenient and super user-friendly straps that wrap around the headrest of a car seat, allowing the product to be placed conveniently in the back seat. I think this is an AMAZING placement – mostly because your kids can easily reach it to throw things away. No more sticky snack trash in the backseat!! (How awesome is that?!) Also the placement against the back of the seat also makes it simple for the person in the front seat to reach it (depending on what side of the car you attach it). I recommend getting one for both sides — they are just that awesome.

So, obviously like I said, Mas27 markets this as a car trash can… but OMG at the versatility of this product. It really can be used for so much more than a trash receptacle. The entire inside of the bag is lined, waterproof and leak-proof! Yes, this does make it great for protecting your car from leaking juice boxes, however … slap in an ice pack and you have a hanging lunchbox for a picnic or beach trip. This is exceptionally effective because the lining is so easy to clean. It also works as a resuseable thermal bag for toting groceries. On the other side of the spectrum – for college students – this hanging storage bin makes a great place to store some extra school supplies conveniently in your car.. in case you forget something you need.

I really cannot say enough about this bag and how much I have really enjoyed it. It is super effective and has a very streamlined look. My only criticism is that I wish it came in other colors… because then they would be ALL OVER MY HOUSE!.
